Investment Strategy

The Aston/McDonnell Municipal Bond Fund seeks to provide tax-free income for investors by investing (as a fundamental policy, 80% or more of total assets) in highquality municipal fixed income securities such as revenue bonds, insured bonds, general obligation bonds, and government-guaranteed escrow bonds.

Objective

The Fund seeks a high level of current interest income exempt from federal income tax consistent with preservation of capital by investing primarily in intermediate-term municipal securities.

Main Risks

Investments in higher yielding, lower rated debt instruments are subject to greater credit risks than higher rated bonds. Investors should also consider risks such as credit, interest rate, liquidity, manager and municipal securities risks when purchasing a bond fund. Interest income is generally exempt from federal taxes but may be subject to state and local taxes. For some investors, interest income may be subject to the federal alternative minimum tax.
