Investment Strategy

The Aston/Fortis Global Real Estate Fund invests in the securities of issuers throughout the world in constructing a portfolio that maintains the characteristics of direct property real estate ownership, combining both top-down and bottom-up research with a long-term investment horizon.

Note: Real estate funds are non-diversified and may be more susceptible to risk than funds that invest more broadly. Risks include declines from deteriorating economic conditions, changes in the value of the underlying property, and defaults by borrowers. Investing in foreign markets also entails the risk of social and political instability, market illiquidity, and currency volatility.

Sharpe Ratio. A risk-adjusted measure used to determine reward per unit of risk.
